Hello - I am the author of this book. I give it five stars because when I go back to read it, I still get sucked into Jack's world. I like the characters, especially Jack and his sidekick, Snake, and it hurt me when my editor suggested I do away with some of the other characters (it was nearly 500 pages then). But at least one of those characters will make a reappearance in Book II, Seekers.
