Katie Cross released a short story collection that goes with her dragon book FLAME. You’ll get to know Talis, Luna and the other dragons from the beginning. Katie’s descriptions are so colorful, you’ll swear the dragons are in the room with you. You’ll see the bright colors of their scales and feel the heat of their fire. If you haven’t read Flame yet, you’ll want to buy it now so you’re not waiting to learn more about the dragons.
Katie, Katie, Katie! How dare you leave me on a cliff hanger! I absolutely love this novella and all the different points of view. That ending though, damn, I want more. I want to see what happens with Tia and Luna as there still is unanswered questions. You narrate so brilliantly and I absolutely can’t wait to read more.
Who took care of the dragons before Sanna? How did the dragons become grounded? What happened that fateful night? Chronicles gives us some valuable insight to the past. We get to know several Dragonmasters, some wise, some reluctant, but all unique in their own way. A great read to keep us anticipating the next book in the trilogy!
