I loved this!!!
Best fantasy of the year so far! Fabulous! What a unique tale spun with such richness and depth. Completely immersive the world building sets up a unique and intriguing stage of events. The tale is also archetype giving it the weight and impact of a fairytale, as old as time but that only adds to the rich tapestry.
This is a HIGH 3, basically a 4.
I’d be lying if I said I this was easy to get into, buuuuut by the end of part one I was HOOKED, and I’m so glad I gave it a go! The last two chapters had be sobbing and that cliff hanger?!?
