It’s official: Lucy Score is the queen of hilarious banter and I will read anything she writes. Fans of the Devil Wears Prada will love this spicy slow-burn (tropes: grumpy boss, enemies-to-lovers). Equal parts hilarious and steamy, I could not put this book down and finished it in a day. Also drunk Dominic is a whole mood and left me weak in the knees 😂

i loved every second of this book! i was giggling like a little girl, i felt butterflies, i laughed and i yelled at my wall from excitement. the banter, the workplace romance, the chemistry, the grumpy boss, slowburn and the comedy? i was here for it.

the idea of this book was really good, and i really enjoyed the epilogue, but i feel like it was dragged on and didn’t need to be this long.
half way through this book it put me in a horrible reading slump and just really dismotivated me
ally and dominic are overall cute but most of these problems could’ve just been fixed with a good conversation.
