I only read this book because it was free on Kindle so I went in without any expectations. I was pleasantly surprised to find that it wasn't shit? Yes, The Deal reads like a well-written and extremely predictable Wattpad story about two basic ass people falling in love, filled with cliques and over-used thropes. I love Garett and Hannah, their relationship and dynamic together is amazing. I love their friendship and how it was hate to love first. I can’t wait to continue in the off campus series. So sad that their story is done in a sense but so happy on how it ended. I recommend it to anyone who is in a slump because it will surely get you out of it, or for the people who loves romance because this is the book for you.

well that was interesting, i really enjoyed the middle - near end but after that miscommunication part it kinda annoyed me but it saved itself and ending well!! honestly a little bummed the rest of the series doesn’t follow these two but i really am interested in reading about the other teammates!! who knows maybe i’ll like them even more than garret and hannah ?? 😳😳

This was a reread for me, I first read this back on 2020 on Apple Books but bought the physical copies and decided to reread it. And let me just tell you I love Elle Kennedy and the off campus series so much!! I fell in love with hockey. Romance because of this book and series in general.
