Sometimes we get so tied up in our idea of what we think we want that we miss out on the amazingness of what we could actually have.

i never really liked romance books, except when they're in the fantasy genre, but this one is a rare exception. i usually cannot finish a romance book bc they feel cringy to me 🥲 but this book got me hooked from the earlier chapters, i found liz really relatable bc we had the same likes but idk she just got annoying as the story progresses. she gave huge "pick m ...more

This book was a cute romcom, but it didn't live up to my expectations.

The plot and the writing were enjoyable, but Liz was too narrow-minded and immature for my taste. And to top it off with my least favourite thing in books, she had a major case of miscommunication issues.

I was surprised to realise that this time, I liked male main character, Wes, so much more than I did Liz. He was so sweet, and I truly believe everyone needs a version of him in their lives.
