wow. i never thought i would like a colleen hoover book. it was definitely interesting and i enjoyed the plot. i didn’t cry or really feel sad, i’m happy with the ending but i think i understand scotty’s parents feelings and how difficult things were for them.

There’s no other way to describe this book than beautiful. What I love so much about so many of Colleen’s books is that they show realistic people who aren’t perfect and go through trauma (their fault, not, or a mix of both), but don’t let it define who they are. I sobbed my way through the ending and am positive when I say this is one of my all-time fav books.

Two words: emotional damage.
I lost count of how many times I cried. You feel for all the characters and understand each of their sides to the story. My heart felt like it was sitting torn into two pieces throughout the story and then put back together. The end had me sobbing like a baby, but happy tears. Overall, it was a beautiful story about loss; finding closure and moving on.
I’ll be honest I wasn’t so sure I’d like it just from reading the blurb, but as always I put my blind faith in any CoH

typically enjoy Colleen Hoover’s books they always bring a tear to my eyes and are an emotional roller coaster. That being said I didn’t enjoy this book as much as I had hoped too. Because I am a huge fan of her work I had some expectations for this book and the book itself just didn’t meet them. I think Kenna and Ledger’s characters were just bland I can’t recall anything memorable the two did in the book and I finished reading this book not long ago. I did like the part where Kenna finally go ...more
