this is one of those feel good reads. I will say I wish this was dual pov, I think not knowing why the breakup happened until the last ~30% of the book wasn’t it. I wish it was stated sooner. also, I wish it was more clear cut on the chapters which ones were flashbacks, at first took me a second

This is just a delightful book. Really enjoyed it. The only problem I had with it was that the MC is supposed to be from Indianapolis and no. That choice seemed to be so that there could be an “unhappy place”. Which felt a little like “What kind of place is unhappy? Oh I know. INDIANA.” So this narrow critique is for not really knowing anything about Indiana but choosing to be like “I bet this place sucks.” A couple of things the MC would have known if she were from Indiana - there are no direct
