This book was pretty depressing for one with the word Happy in it's name. Rating 4.75 because Harriet drove me crazy because she just wouldn’t stop and see that there was more she needed to say. I get she wasn’t raised that way but when you have friends that love you like this and a man who’s a wreck because of the breakup or the split.
Then there’s the whole people are growing up and sometime that means they can in some part grow apart even when it’s not intentional. Family will always be there but you have to let them in and also allow for change as well.

It was good. Just good. I cried, laughed, frowned, and smiled.
This was enjoyable though it really does show the power of communication, it wouldn't have been this bad they just talked but we as people tend to not do that

4.5 rounded up because I couldn't put it down. I was just going to start one chapter but then it got away from me then it was dawn and I was bawling.
I liked all the characters in this book. I especially liked Harriet and Wyn. I totally could empathize with both. Their friends were great. I like the message that came across. Not a one was perfect but they accepted each other.

This was an okay read. I just did not really like any of the characters and I dislike the miscommunication trope so much. Emily Henry has always been too wordy for my taste, but she has real talent in creating the right atmosphere. Her characters are always on vacation or working in an astonishing location. The story is really good, but I guess my reading taste is different. I think I should stop reading romance books, since I rarely really enjoy them. Then again there are some rare gems among t
