I loved this book, at first it was hard for me to get into it because I hated Patrick...
But near half of the book I was sucked in!
Of course it broke my heart... even if I knew what was going to happen (I got spoilers but it was my fault...)
It made me think a lot about my own life and my choices...

I've wanted to read this book for a long time. I saw it in the library and, of course, I had to take it with me!

One of the rare books that touches you a lot, you laugh at it, you cry, you hope ... A real carousel of feelings.
I learned a lot of things about the injuries, pain, distress, love from and to the loved ones. A large part of the book is devoted to the still unsolved concerns about euthanasia -from the individual side and the side of society.

This is a wonderful book. To be fair, there's a bit of the old victim savior trope, the vulnerable man, the quirky girl. But there are also things in here that resonate and that ask some hard questions. You know you've read a good book when you put it down and suddenly miss the people in it. A wonderful tale of love. Louisa is a young female who comes from a very close knit family. She is coming of an age where she is no longer an adolescent, but an adult. Her family encourages her to get a job when she meets Will, a man who himself is coming to terms with being quadriplegic. To do so Louisa must help him function. Emotionally wonderful

This book has been a trial for me to read and I’m happy to say I finally did it. I loved Will and Lou and I hope without a doubt that it is in all for the best I wish more then anything Will didn’t have to be hurt and could have meet Lou differently but not stories end on those terms. It’s just something you live with. Ready eye and heart requiring some chocolate help. I’m going to remember this story for a lone time to come.
