Shelves: fantasy, 5-stars

Holy mother of plot twists! It was so good that I am not even mad about how many twists and turns this book went through. While picking the book up and getting back into the story was easy I found that due to the length and life, in general, it took me longer to finish this than the first book. I know that one day I will go back to reread this.

Pros:
- The pacing was done well giving each scene the needed time to flesh everything out.

That was a really unexpected turn…
from the beginning till the very end…
Still really nice writing.
Believable characters.
Realistic fantasy style.
Really fast motion scenes.
Still hot and sexy.
Book two still highly recommend 👌🏻

Another five-star review! And guess what... I have to read my book club book and wait to read the third book... INSERT the saddest face ever.

This second book was everything... I mean everything... Rhysand... Yes, please... YUMMM

I DNF’d. I really liked the first book but this one was very slow. And the audio book is 23 hours long?!?

After the first book I was really excited to get my hands on this one. But I feel like 30% or so that I go through was just a lot of talking and feelings. I didn’t feel like the story was advancing enough for my taste.

I’m really excited for fans of this series because there’s like 5 books and it looks like they just get longer and longer. I know I’m super happy when a series I like takes me ...more
