Betrayed, Book two of the House of Night series was in a word, a puzzlement. Some parts were interesting, while a great deal of it was (forgive me for saying this) painfully dull. So it definitely picked up a bit. Enough where I can go on to the next book. The plot was decent, but I'm sensing that this story is about to get way more complicated, which is something I really like. The characters are feeling more real and overall, I think this is going somewhere. Very disappointed in Zoey, because I can sense her inability to deal with guys is going to be a huge problem. I really liked this book and this book earned more the first did by far, yet I couldn't bring myself to give this book 5 stars. Just in case someone who hasn't read the book yet reads this, I won't say much except I loved it. By the end I read over 200 pages at once and once specific part made me cry ALOT.
