SO CUTE.
Honestly, a lot of things were right with this book- people of color representation, a really good couple with realistic amounts of chemistry, bits of magic here and there, and an actual moral that isn't banal, which is pretty rare for a love story.
I thought Evie and X's relationship felt natural, despite the pace being quite quick and not much development done to the point where it drags on. I like how Evie's personality is not quirky and bubbly, but hurting and sharp for good reason. ...more
