What Members Thought
This book is just too cute. I loved Alex and Henry. Initially I wasn't sure how this one would go because I'm not really a fan of books that feature politics. I thought that the politics would overshadow the romance but I am so glad that it didn't! The beginning and middle parts of the book were the strongest for me and found it to be the most enjoyable to read. Loved the banter between Alex and Henry. I saw this book pop-up on and all other bookish platforms so many times that I had to add it to my TBR, but honestly I was disappointed. I guess this is one of those books that hits the audience 50-50..
The characters (main & side) weren't really relatable and I wasn't able to connect with them too much but I definitely loved the 'Zahra' - she was amazing and such a badass, all her dialogues were written so well.. I had a great laugh when I read about her interactions about Alex.

Great read. It did lose a bit of steam after the big Conflict climax but it was still fun. The book is HOT, so if you don't like sexy scenes this one will not be for you. I enjoyed it quite a bit. I'm actually glad I waited a bit to read it after the elections because I don't think I had the mental bandwidth for the election antics here even if it was mostly wish-fulfillment.
