THIS BOOK WAS SO GOD-
there were so many plot twists that i couldn’t even think about them
just when you thought you knew what was happening, the author was like: oh no honey you have no idea of what’s happening
AND THEN ANOTHER TWIST

Shelves: thriller

I don’t like rollercoasters, but this one was a fun ride:

- Relatable, realistic and funny family dynamics
- A potential bad guy who’s name we want to clear due to his wonderful nature.
- You follow the investigation alongside the main character, and unfold your own theories.
- There are multiple ways of bringing plot into the book. Via interviews, mails, calender pages etc. It keeps you hooked and makes it feel more like a true crime case to solve.
- It is thrilling due to all its twist and turns ...more

Dacă nu apare un serial sau un film baza pe cartea asta în următorii ani, trebuie sa ma gândesc serios la cariera mea de regizor și sa fac ceva în legătură cu asta. ;))) E o poveste minunată pe care deja plănuiesc sa o recitesc pentru ca nimic nu te plictisește în lumea lui Pip. Cu această carte mi-am confirmat pasiunea pentru cărțile polițiste. ♡

I don’t read a ton of YA books but this one was great!
I loved the twists and turns that made this book hard to put down and the relationships that were built and broken because of Pippa looking the closed case.

I’m excited to read the other books in the series.

wow wow wow. this book was so good i can’t stop thinking about it. the story was amazing, and just how everything fit together at the end was crazy. i was so shocked, and even got asked what i was reading because my facial expression… i don’t usually stray from romance novels but i’m so glad i did for this one. i am also so glad that this book is part of a trilogy that i will be getting and reading very very soon. overall this book was probably one of my favorite reads for 2022 so far!! also i k ...more
