bruh this is one of the best books I’ve ever read I think there’s crack laced through this or something bc wtf!!!

it was written so well and even though I expected some of the plot twists, they were still so good??!!! it was such a fun read & it was so fun to guess what would happen next or to solve the mysteries in my head like I love when I’m right about these things lol ❤️‍🩹 it’s so validating :')

this was so good omgg i cannot believe i tried to put it off. like my heart is pounding and i had to get up from my laptop and pace around my house because i was going to scream. i had to cover the rest of the page with a hand so i wouldn't spoil it for myself. while i kinda little bit knew that the person who killed her did kill her, i was tripped up by the sheer amount of people and suspects and clues there were. ravi and pip are so cute tg and i need something like that. the murder board was ...more

This was very very well written. I always love mysteries, but this one was something to behold. I loved everything about Pip, I feel like she was the ultimate perfect nerdy determined detective protagonist. And Ravi was just plain ravishing, as well lol. There were so many good plot twists and I just love how everything turned out. This was some very entertaining stuff, thank you author.

Esse livro me deixou tão chocada,de uma forma incomparável.

Eu tô até agora tentando absorver o fato desse livro ser tão bom. Eu amei o fato de como tudo se encaixa de uma forma tão perfeita e chocante. Eu até agora fico chocada como a Pip consegui encaixar e resolver um caso que ficou anos sem ser descoberto de uma forma tão desafiadora.
Eu amo a coragem persistente dela de tentar a todo custo encontar as respostas e desvendar tudo.

Aaah I had very high expectations for this and it did not disappoint! I understand the hype now.

To start off I just wanna say that I am Pippa. We are literally the same person. You guys don’t understand her like I do😫her dedication to school and trying to balance so many elements of her life is so relatable.

I really liked all the characters in this book. Pippa, Ravi, Cara, even the less important characters were so well rounded and felt like people I have met in real life.

To start off I just wanna say that I am Pippa. We are literally the same person. You guys don’t understand her like I do😫her dedication to school and trying to balance so many elements of her life is so relatable.

I really liked all the characters in this book. Pippa, Ravi, Cara, even the less important characters were so well rounded and felt like people I have met in real life.

Also, the mystery of this book was just so good. Books like this are usually pretty predictable to me, but this one was not. I had so many theories about who killed Andie, I even suspected Ravi for a while (mostly because he seemed too goo to be true) but I was genuinely surprised when I found out who it was.

And the “big reveal” wasn’t even the end of it, the story just kept unraveling with more elements and plot twists. It was also darker than I predicated, considering it is a YA book I thought it was gonna be like “oh yeah Andie actually ran away cuz she was bored and everyone is totally fine😁” but it wasn’t like that. It’s clear that so much effort was put into the plot and tying up all the loose ends.

The only predictable part of this book was the kind of “third act conflict” which everyone saw coming, and I was really mad when Pippa was going to abandon the project. Especially since it wasn’t even just about her anymore. If I was Ravi at that point I would have been so so angry. But I understand how Pippa felt and I’m glad that she still decided to pick it up again. Ravi never gave up on her which was so sweet and they were the perfect partners in crime.

One more complaint I have about this book is that the motive of the murder was honestly underwhelming. When the second reveal was made I was surprised by who it was, but the reason why Andie actually died was like…eh. Especially since Andie was revealed to not be a very nice person, I expected a motive of jealousy or vengeance, but it was just very boring.

One thing that I did really like, however is the style where she put Pippa’s project entries into the book alongside the chapters. It was so interesting to see how Pippa planned everything out and her organization made me happy. It was so fun figuring everything out as she did.

A Good Girl’s Guide to Murder had great characters and even greater plot, and I’ve heard that the other ones in the series are even better. I don’t really know how that’s possible but I can’t wait to read them and find out! ...more
