Well alrighty then.....if I wasn't already depressed, I sure as heck would be after reading this heart-wrenching tear-jerker. If I had to sum up this novel quickly (and I will), it would have to be one huge train wreck that you can't help but stop and stare at the destruction and casualties before you, not able to turn away for a second - feeling utterly terrible for continuing to do just that. This is by far one of the best books I have read. The story is so engaging, I felt as if i knew each of the characters personally. I was a hot mess reading this, sobbing in the corner, re-reading some portions as it was hard to let go and move forward. This story will stick with me for a while, and I may even read it again.
