Oh, this book...I can't say enough about it. It is the perfect blend of suspense, romance, whodunit, and drama. The characters are well written and have all of these hidden layers and complexities. I love how real the dramatic events each of them face seem to be. And while, for me, some parts felt a little predictable, I don't hold this against the book at all. I'm just that person that watches too many true crime docs and I generally have it all figured out by the end anyway.

Let's just start off by saying...

I was in a trance reading this novel. I am rating 4.5 stars, due to the fact that I subconsciously knew how it would end. However, I wanted to keep myself guessing about the killer. I found myself going back and forth between who had the motive, means, and opportunity to kill Simon.

I experienced love, hate, sympathy, loss, anger, etc... All within 30 chapters. I even screamed out loud during some scenes. This novel made me want to begin annotating my novels, whi ...more

that. was. a m a z i n g. what. a. journey.
this book just blow my mind, it´s not like i wasn´t expecting what i read but this four kids and their messed up history made it a real journey. From the begining you know none of them kill anybody but they all have secrets and you can´t let your guard down. i was clinging like hell to this book, from the top to the bottom i couldn´t take my head of it, this book makes you get really invested with the case, I COULDN´T STOP MAKING OUT THEORIES AND CONCL ...more
