Six of Crows is one of the best books I have ever read and it will stay that way forever.
The characters are everything and they will always have a place in my heart.

Leigh Bardugo, I hate you and I love you so much, I just need the entire crew to be okay in the end. Not even happy—that is clearly too much to ask of YA authors these days—just fine and healthy and preferably unmarked.

i just realised i haven’t shelved this but anyway,

tbh it wasn’t my type of book but its still a good book. i appreciated mainly 2 things:

1) world buulding- the world building was immaculate and very thorough. it’s so complex you feel like your actually there, although in the beginning the names are hard to grasp

2) the originality. my fav thing about this book is the originality and the twist on some tropes. it wasn’t the usual YA storyline i’ve become familiar with, which ig is the reason it has ...more

What a beautifully written book. I think out of all of Bardugo's books this one is my favorite. The depth of each character and their back story is magnificent.

The story introduces you to the Dregs Kaz and his lovely shadow, The Wraith, Inej. It starts with a stand off between two rival gangs in a city in another world. Were people known as Grisha had abilities far beyond anyone's imaginings. After this the story takes off in a whirl wind that left me guessing at each turn.

“No Mourners. No Funerals.” This book was absolutely amazing! Inej and Nina were my favorites however all the characters were great. It’s 1am and I’m super tired lol so my review isn’t the best but I had the day off and was gonna take advantage of that to get this book finished. I absolutely cannot wait to read the sequel! I will say though I’m glad I read the Shadow and Bone trilogy first because I wouldn’t have understood a lot of this book. I know some people say you don’t have to read them t ...more
