This was less of a mystery and more of a contemporary feel along with political statements, which would have been fine if I was aware before I started. Contemporary isn't my thing normally and I hate it when it pops up in my murders and I'm not prepared.

And really after 200 pages I expected more than just character introduction repeats. But I guess that's why there's 2 other books? If I read the others maybe I'll find out more.😕

Really the only people I enjoyed was Stevie, Nate,

Schools may be famous for many things: academics, graduates, sports teams.
They are not supposed to be famous for murders.

I have a lot of thoughts and theories with regard to this book considering I thought a lot while reading. It would be wonderful if at least one of them panned out. When I first picked this book up I couldn’t get into it And was gonna return it to the library when the pandemic hit. I focused on a few other Library books I wanted to read and then I decided to pick this book back up again. Once I picked this book up I couldn’t put the book down. I loved all the characters so I put all the rest of the books on hold at my library. Maureen Johnson is becoming a Author I would keep reading her books.
