We have all read a story that seems too futuristic to be real, but "Internment" is too real for comfort, yet it is a must read.
It begins a year after the census when Layla Amin and her family are suddenly whisked away from their home to an internment camp for Muslim Americans. What Layla shows readers is that we must stand up and speak out against "complicit silence," no matter the danger or the cost.
