[close] This book is about a boy who has a dog as his assistant who is trained as a help dog. It tells of how he has bonded with the dog, and it how the adjustment in school with the dog. It isn't focused on his disability, but more of the dog itself, but this book can open up to talk about some of the obstacles that someone in a wheelchair might have. I would recommend this book to advanced children at least second grade, maybe first. This is Realistic fiction.
