Little did I know that reading this book would lead me to many other medical books. It sparked in me a kind of learning virus.
People bleed out of their pores, organs melt.
EBOLA.
How did it come to be? A simple bug bite, sex, air, a kiss. Shoot...after reading the book, I thought I could get it just by existing!
Symptoms? A headache, red eyes, and then slowly, very slowly, you begin to melt from your insides, out.
It is a sensationalized book for sure, but...oh so good.
The Ebola outbreak is the premisis.

I read this mostly because I wasn't feeling well, and my less page-turny books weren't able to hold my attention. This may or may not have been a good idea, since the book details the effects of filoviruses. They are not pleasant. They're something you don't want to come down with, and (luckily) you probably won't.

Fascinating and terrifying and makes me want to be a germ hunter even more! More exciting than any novel - very recommended.
