What Members Thought
As an entertaining read, this book scores fairly low. However, from a critical and influential work standpoint it gets an A+. You can see how her statistics and concern for the spreading of poisons and chemicals like DDT would be a wake up call. The statistics are very alarming and the way the book reads, leaves not doubt as to what we are doing to ourselves and our environment. It was a good book to read for such things.
I heard this story on NPR as I was reading this book. It shows how relevant these issues still are.
