The writing was stunning. The characters amazing. The plot intruiging. Basically everything you could want in a book. I loved seeing the characters slowly grow but then in the end it rlly panned out and showed the reader that the characters still hv a long way which gets me so excited for the next book. As I said earlier, the plot was amazing, it was consistent and easy to follow. I lit rally cannot wait to start Crooked Kingdom.😌

I don’t know how many times I’m going to rewrite this review but everytime, I feel like I’m not expressing myself correctly.

I have been a little scared to say how I really feel because of how much people love this book. I don’t really see any hate surrounding this book, which is fine, but it put a lot of pressure on me to like it when I read it July 2020. I’m not going to mention my opinions on the show or anything else about the show. This is solely on the book.

Soooo good! I really enjoyed this read, I have not felt this content after a book in a long time.

One of my favorite things about this book was that it was in third person and the point of view gets changed around through the six main characters. This helped me fall in love with each character individually, and I do not feel that I like a character just because I was looking through a biased perspective. I love how all of the opposing personalities are able to find a unique way to fit together. ...more

IN LOVE!!!
unexpected plot twists & great character development. It took me a while to get through. I guess just because of the Ravkan/Kerch/Fjerden names and vocab I didn’t want to miss something between Inej and Kaz or M & N. I LIVE for that stuff.
