Meditative listen that encourages gratitude.
This book generated a wonderful discussion even though many hadn't completed the book. It's best read/listened to in small doses and in a quiet space that encourages contemplation.

I had to check this one out twice to finish reading it. A slow read because it was very thought provoking. Science and conservation combined with indigenous stories. It makes you sad for what has been taken from the natural world but also makes you consider if it is too late and the extent of the change in thought that it would take to repair some of the damaged that has been done and what the impacts are to human life.
