Well written cozy mystery! Liked the insights on the Filipino family and food.
Highly enjoyable. I recommend for lovers of cozy mystery. Looking forward to the sequel. I did find the first person perspective to be a little odd. But also I can't imagine it in 3rd. 🤷🏻♀️

2.5. Writing style just wasn’t for me. I read this for a book club, and was excited to try something new, but this just reinforced for me that fluffy reading isn’t my speed. Still glad I gave it a shot, though.
This was a fun cozy mystery! It was funny, and I fell in love with the characters. I already have a ship, and I don't think it's one the author intended lol I am looking forward to reading the next book.

This was a fun read. And it made me hungry. LOL! I look forward to seeing how the characters develop in future installments of the series.
