What Members Thought
Thoughtfully written about poignant issues and ways community can band together against predatory systems or even those that don’t function well, such as childcare for working single mothers. Liz Moore’s characters are well-developed and I was invested in their stories. It was a bit long, but the reveals were well plotted and worth the build up.
Addiction, abuse of power, motherhood, family, policing, poverty… so many good themes in this one
