What Members Thought
Given the state of the world, I've retreated to my "chicken soup" authors and series. In Death ranks right up there at #1. Eve's temper was perfect for my state of mind. All previous comments remain pertinent. On to the next!From February 2017 "relisten". I always forget Eve's temper in this one. She lets lose and no one, from Commander Whitney on down, is safe. Still a pivotal book in the series.

I love Eve and Roarke. This time an ex-con is after Eve because Eve disrespected her. I like knowing who the villain is and watching Eve try to pre-guess her moves so Eve can arrest her before another murder happens. Good story.
They’re getting a little formulaic in the sense that there will always be that one big final Op, but the characters are delightful enough to forgive the author’s laziness.
