This book has been out for a while now, and I seem to be the last person in the world to read it, lol! So instead of rehashing plot lines, I'll give a quick snippet of my thoughts on A Hunger Like No Other.

He growled in frustration, but he did limp to the door. At the hallway adjoining the rooms, he turned and said, "You've bought yourself a few hours. The next time you drink, you're mine and we both know it."

Maybe I'm a cover snob, but when I first saw this book I was so put off by the cheesy cover that I avoided it. Avoided it so long, in fact, that it stopped being available for my Kindle region. So I was hugely glad when it was made available again earlier this month, and with a nice new cover that looked less like a Mills and Boon.

I really enjoyed The Warlord Wants Forever and am glad I read it first, because all the various characters here would have made it a bit hard to follow otherwise. Stil ...more

So yes i finished the book, yes i enjoyed it, yes it is a good series & no i haven't warmed to Lachlain, not one little bit. Now Emmaline, i liked how much she changed, how she became stronger. I will probably read the rest in this series. ...more
