This book to me is the kind you either Love or Hate!! It's definitely taboo and had my gut clenching through out with excitement, nail biting anticipation, horror and yes arousal. This is why I read fiction, I sometimes crave those feelings of helplessness not being able to stop reading until everything has unfolded.. being at the authors mercy and that's exactly what K Webster did here.. Well, i cringed all the way through but couldn't put it down. Great cringey plot....so i have to say WOW K!! i'm super happy i read it all the way through because i really liked the ending- i started breathing again... *eye roll* i absolutely cannot wait to read more of your books!! <3

Okay, so I don't think that I'm going to review this one much at all other than by saying the writing was your typical impeccable K. Webster style. Dark, forbidden, and suspenseful. It's a bit much to read at times. But, if you like a taboo dark read that ends up with a few twists and turns within the story, than this one is for you. I'm really not sure if I liked it or not. I read this book in less than eight hours. It was so captivating and just wrong. But I couldn't stop reading it. It was so shocking and sad. Very haunting and engaging. My heart broke for everyone but Atticus. He did break my heart.

The idea. WTF. Take the warning seriously and if others have warned you take heed. This book is raw and damages your heart. ...more
