If you go in to this book expecting it to be a fast paced thriller where the entire story is laid out in the first book, you are going to be disappointed. What Aleatha Romig did was laid the groundwork for an enthralling story that just goes to show you, there is more to people that meets the eye.

OMG OMG! !!!!!!!!!
I never ever expected this. no way. not on your life.

But Aleatha Romig did it again. She created a monster within me.

Betrayal is the first book in a 5 book series and bloody hell it's a whirlwind journey.
