I just love this author! She writes some awesome books that keep you so invested in the story. And, those characters just jump out at you with all their wit and charm. This book does not disappoint whatsoever! I loved the whole story of Lake Jones and her disability as she’s a spokesperson for a prosthetic company. It was real and honest. Mmm is this book a standalone, I’m not so sure, if you haven’t read the Jack and Jill series then you will not get the references to Luke and Jessica. Lake is the sister of Luke and she meets Cage in the second of the Jack and Jill series. I liked Lakes character but I found the story to creep slowly in the middle. Well written and I will most likely read Flints story.
