K Webster’s books are always a big hit for me, I loved everything about this one, Jessica was such a strong sassy woman even after everything she had been through. Bax was a complex man that you got to know slowly as the story unfolded. The side characters were wonderful. And that Epilogue ending was awesome, I had tears of happiness in my eyes, lol. I highly recommend this book to lovers of dark romance.

What a trip

Absolutely fell in love with these characters as they were brought to life. You see the good the bad and the very ugly. But the beauty in the end is what makes the journey well worth the trip.

Looking forward to reading more by this author.

Hooooooo, finally!
Took me more than 3 weeks to gather up my wits and wills to finish up. I can't bear to put DUT to DNF shelf *banging my head on the table* But I can't get my head wrapped around the story.

I can't love the characters--I just liked Brax marginally. I can't even love Jessica's character. I think for dark romance I'll stick to Pepper Winters.

Maybe DR is just not my cup of tea. I kinda like how I was forced to step outside my comfort zone, but it was waaaaaaay out of my ...more

My second K.Webster book in as many weeks, and I like this one even better than the first - in fact, I read it in a single day!

Dark? Yes. Twisted? Yes. Loved it? Yes.

Braxton and Jessica are totally broken, yet they complete each other in a story that works. I loved Jessica's character - she's strong, despite all that she's been through - and it's her strength that really brings them together in the end.

If you aren't afraid of the dark, this is one worth taking the time to read. ...more
