OK its a wrap. DNF @ 60% just could not go on.
This was not one of the best Kristen Ashley books I’ve read. In fact I will go as far to say it was one of the worse.
Like a lot of readers I looked forward to the conclusion of the Magdalene Series with much anticipation but it was such an over play of words, repetition, an over the top ass hole and an over the top doormat of a woman.
The writing was choppy and so was the plot so much that it was hard to keep my concentration levels going due to the ...more

Loved every moment of it. Sorry that it's over for the people of Magdalene. Would love to know more about Elijah and Verity's story and Conner and Sophie would be good as well.
Looking forward to more Kristen Ashley stories. ...more

I have to say that I had been looking forward to Coert's story, and finally it is here.
I enjoyed this story, but it was so emotional and hard to read at times. Mainly all the things that Cady went through with her family and then the way Coert treated her when she first came back to Magdalene. It was just heart-wrenching.
The only reason that I didn't give this 5 stars is because I like my heroines a bit tougher than Cady, and not so seemingly naive. I also have started to dislike it when the h ...more

This tory is a romance that gets interrupted due to a huge misconception
She didn't know who he really was - Undercover cop. Left Cady spinning and she would have evaporated if she wouldn't have been saved by a hero. She spent time saving him and this new hero Patrick and in the process found out who she was and had people who appreciated her. This was new since her biological family never did. Circumstances lead her back to a place where she confront her past and find a path forward. This book i ...more

This story gives us more great KA characters. We really get to know these two with flashbacks from their younger years together and the struggles they have getting to know each other again. We get less strange sentences also which I like. Sometimes, while reading KA books, I have moments of not understanding the vernacular that she uses with her characters and I don't understand the sentence, so it was nice to have less of that.

Sooo looking forward to this but about midway in her usual lull in story place i just stopped reading. I liked it it felt that it was drawn out too much. So sad one of first books I read from her I didn’t love or finish!
However her other new series I am loving! Maybe writing too much now. Hopefully next ones are still great.
