OMG…..I absolutely loved, loved this book!!! Readers first meet Cassie and Ethan several years after their bad breakup. They are working together as the two lead actors in a Broadway production. They met at a prestigious acting college years earlier…they had instant chemistry, but was it love or hate? They are total opposites of one another. He’s the typical bad boy, and she is the naïve, good girl who has lived her life up to this ***I was provided a copy from Net Galley for an honest review.***

He’s the typical bad boy, and she is the naïve, good girl who has lived her life up to this point for others. When they two meet, to say the earth was shaken on its axis is an understatement. They fall hard for each other, but of course, Ethan ends up ripping her heart out. So, when she discovers she has to work with him again, she vows to not let him get under her skin. But, that’s easier said than done, especially when it seems he wants her back. As they work closely together day after day, it gets harder for Cassie to resist him. Will she give him another chance? If she gives in, will he just end up breaking her heart again? When I say you need to read this, you really need to read this book…like now!!!!

I love second chance love stories, so when I saw Bad Romeo, I knew I had to read it! I am so glad I did; it exceeded all of my expectations. I loved how the story was told through the Cassie’s diary entries and the flashbacks. Seeing how the two met and how complicated their relationship was really set the rest of the story up quite nicely. Ethan wasn’t kidding when he said the two of them becoming friends would cause “the end to civilization as we know it.” Their chemistry was totally combustible and that chemistry was the main reason I read the book so quickly. OMG, I loved the characters….even when Ethan frustrated me so badly. He ran hot and cold, but it was perfect! Cassie seemed to want everybody to like her, and she would sometimes say and do things that she thought would make them like her. However, she didn’t do that with Ethan. She was snarky and sarcastic with him. I have never seen two characters in a book that could bring out the best and the worst in each other! The sarcasm and banter between them was hysterical. There were times I laughed out loud, especially when she was remembering her friendship with Ethan’s sister when she thought “her brother was born of a human mother and not spawned straight from Satan’s asshole.” That was a priceless quote!!! And, I wanted them to work out their issues and get their HEA!!!

There has been a lot of early reviews written about how fantastic Bad Romeo is, and it lived up to all the hype! It was a fantastic and one of the best debut novels I have read. I am so glad I requested the book from Net Galley. You really need to read this book! You will experience so many emotions…anger, sadness, and laughter! I am really looking forward to seeing what Leisa Rayven has in store for us in the future.

What an angsty book!
It's a love story full of insecurities and self doubts.
I liked both characters and just the final chapter earned this story the four stars (because while I was reading it I was really frustrated!).
Ethan was damaged goods. He kept pushing her away, being an asshole and Cassie just kept insisting! I wanted to scream at her to grow some and to go get some dignity! I guess she felt this "huge attraction" , but it was just a physical attraction really, because he didn't really tal ...more

I listened to the audio version of this book and while I thought the narrator did a great job I was really disappointed in the book itself. Cassie struck me as almost predatory in her behavior towards Ethan. He was constantly telling her he didn't want a relationship, didn't want to be involved with her at all but she couldn't seem to stop groping and ogling him.
