this story is about pseudo-incest or if you want to label it(stepbrother porn). Its not a romance - well the beginning of this story isn't. Its about a coming of age - new adult style. The main characters are blue collar mechanics. The story is set in North Carolina where according to the author "the only place where one hears proper English is in English class. It is clear from the beginning that this is not going to be a romantic story. It is a contemporary erotic fiction - Eden Connor describes it as "the Fast and Furious meets Girl Interrupted" and I get what she means.

The story is also satirical - lots of laugh out loud and a lot of tongue in cheek moments. Satire is there for a reason.

Remember this is fiction. This is not the usual stepbrother story you are used to. I wanted to do damage to the two of them - I seriously wanted to.

So Shelby's sex odometer was static until the day her Mother came home with a husband. Along with the husband came two stepbrothers Colt and Caine. Hard bodied and handsome (yeah) but two of the biggest dicks you will come across (yeah even worse that the Penelope Douglas Characters). They put Shelby through emotional hell.

When offered a ride to school by her "stepbrother" Shelby soon found out the meaning of 'gas or ass".
these two shattered her innocence, introduced her to fast cars and stakes that she had no control over. Shelby soon became hooked on high octane driving paired off with high octane sex games and it wasn't long before her unrequited crush turns into pure unadulterated hatred and you know that saying "pay back is a bitch"........well I was so glad to see payback.

dont expect a HEA in this book - if thats what you are looking for then this is not for you but book 2 well it looks like a different stake.

Great taboo story and hell of a ride. Well done to Eden Connor for introducing me to a different take on of the Stepbrother porn craze. Well written and I cant wait to read what happens in book 2.

I sometimes, but rarely, have a time where a book leaves me not really knowing what to say or how to say it. This is definitely one of those moments.

Shelby is a girl on the cusp of womanhood. She hasn't had a really good role model in her mother, but she has basically been the center of her mother's world. Shelves: contemporary, erotic

This book won't be for everyone, but once I got used to the sexual themes--some of which made my brows rise--I wanted to know what would happen next. The heroine - at times I wanted to shake her, but the author did a good job in making her likeable. The ending has been left open, with more books to come.
