I was terrified of tackling this beast of a book for the longest time only because it was so big but also because I didn't wanna be scared and I tell you I scare easy so the good thing first It's awesome despite a big book and every word comes together to make it so and second it's not that scary I mean it has its moments but on its own, it's not shit out of your pants crazy horror like the cover says it's EPIC Thriller. At least it was for me definitely the movies are scarier with the jump scar I was terrified of tackling this beast of a book for the longest time only because it was so big but also because I didn't wanna be scared and I tell you I scare easy so the good thing first It's awesome despite a big book and every word comes together to make it so and second it's not that scary I mean it has its moments but on its own, it's not shit out of your pants crazy horror like the cover says it's EPIC Thriller. At least it was for me definitely the movies are scarier with the jump scares and terror but it was much more spaced out here and I love the progression of the story and jump between the times. And to tell you the truth I am not the first one or the last one or only one to say so, scores of readers who have read this wonderful story way before I am proof of that.

In the great scheme of things, this is just another review for a book that already got so many great reviews but every drop helps, right? so here goes after all I could go on writing and writing but is that going to make that much of a difference and remember writing this is taking me away from the reading too after all I gotta Keep on Reading.

So yeah if you are someone like me who got to the books a little later or you are just young still missing on this book then remedy that get to it after all King of books also has scores of more books which you have to read after this as this is only one from more than 70 books written by him.

My dream of being a writer is realized and I am now a Goodreads Author. People who don't read generally ask me my reasons for reading. Simply put I just love reading and so to that end I have made it my motto to just Keep on Reading. I love to read everything except for Self Help books but even those once in a while. I read almost all the genres but YA, Fantasy, Biographies are the most. My favorite series is, of course, Harry Potter but then there are many more books that I just adore. I have bookcases filled with books that are waiting to be read so can't stay and spend more time in this review, so remember I loved reading this and love reading more, you should also read what you love and then just Keep on Reading. ...more

I really enjoyed this book. I loved the new movie and thought it was time to read this finally. Stephen King is such a unique author. Holy crap with all the details! I loved all the characters and their relationships to each other. Thankfully I knew about that disturbing end scene when they defeat It in the 50s in advance (y'all know what I'm talking about) in advance so I was prepared and, therefore not horrifically disturbed.
