Such an amazing read. I felt pulled this way and that and nothing really struck me as completely preposterous. It was such a pleasant surprise, I honestly went into reading these books worried that I wouldn't think much of them because they didn't have the hype and word of mouth that things like "Divergent", "The Vampire Diaries" or "Mortal Instruments" but this was so much better than I could have imagined. I would love to see this series done as a movie, and see Prince Maxon, American an

It took me a while to get into book one, but have to say I really enjoyed book two. An easy read with strong characters. Really routing for Maxon and America .

Slightly frustating in a lot of ways for me.

I LOVE Maxon, I am TOTALLY Team Maxon...but I couldn't stand him for most of this book. He had some redeeming qualities towards the end, but there will have to be massive changes in The One or I will probably hate it more.

I never liked Aspen, he can't change my mind anymore...I'm too invested in Maxon, no competition for me.

I did LOVE America in this book, LOVED her. I loved her character.

The king and queen twists completely took me by surprise though

I didn't like this book as much as the first one just because America was so undecided about Aspen and Maxon and I also disliked the fact that her and Maxon didn't have as many sweet romantic moments as they did in the previous novel, but none the less I loved the ending and I can't wait for the next book!!!! ...more

It wasn't what I was expecting at all. I couldn't get the grasp of Maxon and Aspen's possessiveness over America. At first, I was alright with it, until I got to the middle where America can't really decide on what to do with both guys. It's like she has Maxon the one day, and Aspen the next. It was so irritating. But, at least at the end, it turned out okay already.

And what I wasn't expecting is what happened to the king and Maxon. The king reminds me so much of President Snow of The Hunger Ga

This was one of those books in a series that you feel was just a book that connects one to another
