I loved this book! I thought it was very well done and told a story with some amazing characters throughout! It was intense when it needed to be and when it wasn’t did a great job developing the characters! It was such a quick read! I would recommend it to anyone looking for a fun, fast paced, and realistic adventure!

Longe review coming soon! :)

Disappointment.

Such a major one.

Here's why:

1) The competition itself is so unrealistic. Teenagers are going around, practically killing themselves in these challenges, and yet the police don't know anything about it. So real, right? People dying, left and right-- nope, that's a normal thing at Carp.

2) The writing was simply so... Uncompelling. It didn't pull me in at all, and so I had to push myself to finish it, read every stinking page until I'm done... Yes. Finally. Here I am. Done.

This was my first Lauren Oliver novel, and I love her writing style. It's so easy, so effortless, and completely drew me in. Panic was definitely an enjoyable read.

Panic is a split-perspective between Heather and Dodge, but both are in third person. I wouldn't describe it as a love story (even though there are several romantic threads), which made it quite refreshing. I've heard some people say the summary makes Panic sound like The Hunger Games, but they're nothing like each other. Panic is abo

I really enjoyed this book. I love that it was a stand alone with a great action and only lagged for like 20 pages. This doesn't happen too much where a dystopian stand alone is well written with good character development and has a good ending. Also, the characters were very relateable and felt like real people. Pick up this book!!! Congrats to Lauren Oliver for this wonderful novel! I will definitely read her trilogy- The Delirium Series.

I had an incredibly hard time getting through this book. the premise was awesome but the book lacked depth. I didn't like any of the characters, so how they did in "panic" did not interest me. I'm finding Lauren Oliver to be really hit-or-miss as an author. she really needs to take time writing her books, and not just trying to crank them out in a super fast fashion. ...more
