Title: Anna and the French Kiss
Series: Anna and the French Kiss #1
Author: Stephanie Perkins
Format: Hardback, 372 pages
Rating: 4.25 stars
Recommend it to?: those in need of a light, romantic read!
My Review: I usually don't read books likes Anna, i usually stay away from any book where the main theme is love. I just don't like how far fetched most of them are or the main girl is a horrible role model. But this book was very good :]
I did have trouble finishing this in the past, i usually ...more

This was the CUTEST but realest story ever.
So
I took an unexpected hiatus from reading for TWO MONTHS and so this is the first sweet YA novel I’ve read in a while. I read “Isla” first then “Lola” next on accident, and I was always hesitant to read Anna’s story, but it was so lovely.
I was attached to all the characters instantly. I told myself I did not have to finish this book, but I found myself reading it when I was with my friends.

Yes! It's not midnight yet so that means I finished this book in 1 day. I have never read a book that has made me so girly in my life. I'm not usually into romantic novels, but my god THIS ONE IS SO CUTE.

SPOILER ALERT
Alright, not quite 4 stars but not 3 either. It's like 3.5 or 3.7 or something like that.
I'll admit, I had high expectations. Ridiculously high which is why I didn't find it as mindblowing as I thought I would. One, the reviews and ratings. They were sky-high. Then the title of the book just pulled me towards it. I'm cheesy like that. And lastly, IT WAS SET IN FRANCE. IN PARIS. Is that not reason enough?
Anyway, so some things were extremely predictable like the getting together o ...more

I recommend this book to anyone who likes the following:
-romance
-humor
-France (oui, oui!)
-swoon-worthy love interests
-British accents
-relatable protagonists
-YA
-just books in general
-breathing
-human emotions
If you like any of these things, I suggest you read Anna and the French Kiss as soon as possible. I also suggest you sprint to your nearest bookstore/library right now. Right NOW.

The writing is really good but honestly, the plot of the story didn't grew on me.
Maybe it's just me, because I am definitely not very fond of all the drama which took away that one last star.
HOWEVER, THIS IS SUCH A CUTE BOOK NONETHELESS. ...more
