I was reluctant to read this book in the beginning. I thought it was going to be another one of those teen contemporary romances that left you feeling gooey and frustrated because it never seems to happen in real life. I held off for a really long time, until I succumbed and got it from my librarian. I got it free, and for some reason, that sweetened the deal for me.

SPOILER ALERT

Alright, not quite 4 stars but not 3 either. It's like 3.5 or 3.7 or something like that.

I'll admit, I had high expectations. Ridiculously high which is why I didn't find it as mindblowing as I thought I would. One, the reviews and ratings. They were sky-high. Then the title of the book just pulled me towards it. I'm cheesy like that. And lastly, IT WAS SET IN FRANCE. IN PARIS. Is that not reason enough?
