Reviews that say this is like Jane Austen with magic are accurate. I saw pieces of Sense and Sensibility, Pride and Prejudice, and Emma. The build to the climax was slow plot wise, yet it was a quick read. I have been in a bit of a reading drought since my dog died this past spring. This book was perfect for my current reading mood.
