I loved how Monica kept Jonathan engaged with their relationship and fighting by telling him how things would be between them. Describing their story. And what she said to Brad when she told him "He's not some boyfriend in a line of them," just made my heart swell.

Jonathan and Monica stories could show up on my Kindle until the end of the time and I would read every single one. Songs of Submission tops my favorites list. This story uniquely portrays the honesty of two people working through a fast relationship. The writing is phenomenal, taking you for emotional rollercoaster ride on every page.

After reading the series several times and reading the other stories Reiss has published about the Drazen web, I can tell you Songs of Submission only gets better, deeper. The layers of nuances and clues, the emotional depth, the growth all combine to give the reader the ultimate reading experience each and every time. C.D. Reiss writes truly addicting stories making the reader become emotionally invested in her stories. Jonathan and Monica will rock your world just as they’ve rocked each other’s.

Jonathan Drazen is the ultimate fantasy for me. His wit, charisma, sexual prowess, and belief in Monica total a complete, irresistible package. His words, even the lies, are in command. He’s always seeing the bigger picture, protecting what he finds precious. The transformation he undergoes when Monica comes into his life, the full acceptance of who he is and what they are together is beautiful. And the transformation he causes in Monica eve moreso. Jonathan saw power in Monica.

Monica Faulkner. I want to be her when I grow up. Monica Faulkner owns Sing. I’ve been enthralled with this character from the first I read it and each subsequent reading proves to me why she’s my favorite heroine. She’s crazy strong and crazy in love – almost from the beginning, before she’s even willing to admit it. In Sing we see her strength come from desperation and she shines. She goes from this little spitball of fire to a blazing inferno. The power Jonathan forced her to recognize she exudes in Sing. She was always a Goddess, she just needed someone with the stamina, arrogance, and belief of Jonathan Drazen to believe it herself.

While you don’t want this series to end, you cannot deny the brilliance of its ending. At the end of Resist I had no idea where this story was going to go and the plot of Sing was brilliant. The journey that both Jonathan and Monica went on throughout the series and especially in Sing was profound. Their discovery and acceptance of each other through each other was so amazing. Their love knows no bounds and they've finally fully embraced it.

C.D. Reiss is a truly gifted writer, the maturity and honesty in her writing is astounding. There is no one who writes a story like C.D. Reiss. It’s like you watch a movie play out in your mind as you read. She makes you believe in her characters. Every action and reaction they have stays completely true to they are, who you want them to be.

A developed obsession leaves me craving these stories when I need a fix. You'll become addicted to Songs of Submission, it will consume you, and you'll devour it. Puzzles pieces start fitting. Jonathan and Monica become so much more. Other characters start meaning more. C.D. Reiss is building an epic puzzle and you don’t want to miss how the pieces fit together.

4.25 unforgettable stars

I read until the wee hours of the morning, my eyes like sandpaper, and although this final sequence put me through the ringer, I was left a bit unsatisfied. Sing was so well written, it's just not what I imagined for "strong like bull" Jonathan and his goddess Monica. Further, the epilogue was a disappointment. Two years? Time is fragile and they waste that much time waiting to commit? Give me better reasons why, convince me.

I thought this last installment did a great job of changing things up and was a great resolution to the series....except....I think, as a series by design, each installment seemed to be written as a mini book, and had too many reversals for the length of each piece. This last installment, while longer, suffered from the same fate - I got whiplash from the ups and downs. Perhaps these would do better if read with some time in between, rather than as a total immersion, which is what I did.

Jonathan and Monica's story is epic. This storyline in there love my breath away. I was definitely on an emotional roller coaster with the story. I found the strength and the women in the story, the deception, and the definition. I see the kind of woman Jonathan wants and the kind of person that he needs (Monica).

Such a good book/series! It was everything you want in an erotic novel but with heart and characters you can actually picture and sympathize with. And it is funnier than you would think.both main characters were great! the last book released today Totally worth 5 stars!
