Hangs my head in shame as I admit that I have not yet read Brooke’s work yet.... but I can say that after getting a taste – I’m all in.

Aced is the baby of two book series by two authors. I sort of love this concept. For me, I was dying for Dylan’s book – I have loved the first two in this series and was eager to learn all about the hot model with a tragic past.

Who would have imagined that two men would find their fantasy standing before them, live and in person? Well that’s just what happened ...more

When these two authors collaborate sparks fly and they certainly flew with this baby. Aced is a crossover with a side character from Ella Frank’s Sunset Cove Series and a side character from Brooke Blaine’s LA Liaisons Series, total genius!! If you’re a fan of the Sunset Cove series like I am, then you’d know that Dylan was first introduced in Devil's Kiss. When I first learned that there will be a 3rd book in this series, and that it will be about Dylan, you bet I was excited! So yup, an Ella fan here for a while now. But this is a first Brooke read for me even though I have another book of hers.

I enjoyed this book but didn't love. I love how open and free Dylan is. I didn't love Ace (not sure why) but I just didn't. Not enough angst or story for me till the end but yes I'll read the next one ...more

What happens when two of your FAVORITE authors bring their writing styles, and two beloved characters from each of their series together? You get the explosively hot story of Dylan Prescott and Ace Locke. Then you fall to your knees, look up to the heavens and thank whatever deity that you believe in for Ella and Brooke.

It seems to me that M/M romance novels are currently trending...and sure, one have to read them with an open mind since we are talking two men getting-it-on-hot-and-heavy-style. And Aced sure delivers on that.

But this book is not just about two men getting off. It's a story about love. It's about two people clicking and falling for each other. It's about these two people wanting a happily ever after as much as the next person.
