***Let me preface my review with highly recommending you re-read the last 20% or so of RUIN to re-acclimate yourself to the events that took place as RULE jumps right back into that timeline following the wedding explosion/fire. If you haven't read RUIN, I caution you to not read further in my review as there's mild plot spoilers for that book.

Great finish

Not usually a fan of mafia heroes, I am a big fan of this one. This series moves. No dragging and languid pacing to stretch out to three books. This series flies like bullets during a shootout. There are many surprises...the. characters even surprise themselves....and never a dull moment. The ending is supremely satisfying.

CD Riess is a master wordsmith.
How can she create such intersecting storyline plots for the Drazen clan, and yet have each and every character stay so unique and keep us all spellbound to find out WHAT NEXT? I don't know.
But we all benefit from her dark and sultry writing gifts. *sigh*
And WOW what an ending to Theresa and Antonio's love story...heart palpitations for so many reasons. I won't spill it here, but you DO NOT WANT TO MISS THIS ONE!!!! ...more
