The Written By Veterans Creative Writing Program was started in the summer of 2014 at California State University, San Bernardino. It is open to those closely affiliated with the military and their immediate family members. It features a rigorous nine-session college-level course in which participants receive thorough training in the art, craft, and business of professional screenwriting. Screenwriting is an ideal way to learn methods of writing longer projects such as novellas and novels.
