62938 We almost always meet on Thursday nights at 6:30, till about 8-9, depending on how much we talk. We meet in Corydon. And there are other Louisville book clubs on you can check out too.

62938 Amber - I'm still around some. I don't read the book every month, because I ended up starting my own book club. We read a variety of things, but definitely enjoy the Vaginal Fantasy style books as well. We're all in Southern Indiana. What about you?

62938 As I was reading the books, I didn't like Sully that much. I understand why he was withholding information from Chaz. But it was annoying. Sully would be forced to reveal something about himself, Chaz would get upset, then she would accept him and be happy for awhile. Till she learned the next piece of the puzzle, though never being allowed to ask questions.

The pattern kept repeating over and over. I feel like things would have been better if he had given her the benefit of the doubt. Plus....hello, he didn't even ask her about Ky'sara and Ky'sal. You'd think she'd deserve a say.

In the end, I liked the book, but I think I actually enjoyed Grimspace a little more.

62938 I originally switched to the Kindle, because my book collection was getting out of control. There's only so much room in one house! Now, I can't imagine not having my Kindle. I love that I can go on vacation and take hundreds of books with me without packing an extra suitcase. And I have it with me at all times. So if I have to wait, in the checkout aisle, or at the doctor's office, I can entertain myself with a good book.

That being said, I actually do still buy print books. If I've already got some of the books in a series in paper format, I want to finish the series in paper format. Such as the new Sookie book that just came out. After work, my paper copy should be at home waiting for me to devour. Plus, if the author is someone I really enjoy reading, I might still buy the paper book.

I'm with you. I enjoyed the characters in Iron Duke much more than Soulless. I'm looking forward to the next book in the Iron Seas series. But I'm not sure I'll continue reading the Parasol series, maybe if I don't have anything else to read...

62938 The first POV change threw me for a loop. I actually clicked back (on my Kindle) trying to figure out who Rhys was. But after the first, it didn't bother me much. Though I much preferred reading Mina's story. Rhys was too cave-man like for my taste.

62938 The Iron Duke was my first read with this group and I did enjoy it. I loved Mina and find myself wishing the series was more about her. But Rhys was hard to like. He was pushy and not nearly as well developed of a character as Mina.

I just started Soulless and the first few pages were interesting... But it's intriguing enough to keep me reading. I should have the book done in a few days.
