40760 I know this is quite young to suggest but it angered me with disappointment at the time and still does looking back. Series of unfortunate events were amazing books when i was growing up i loved them and they were probably the first series i got into as a child. I was so excited about the movie coming out when i heard and dear god did i wish i never watched it :/. It didnt stick to the story line it shoved three of the books into one movie and just threw in new material and changed the story line and oh the ending of the movie dont get me started! I know it was a kids movie and and had to make it happy for them but for bookworms growing up with these books, it was a huge let down. Rant over :)

40760 One of the best books I have to suggest because it is one of my all time favourites is 'The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo' with Steig Larrson. Its amazing, I know at the start it can be quite wordy and hard to get in but see when you get into it, its so hard to put down. One of the best crime thriller novels I have ever read.
