390 Karina Halle has a series I just finished, Experiment in Terror, and I LOVED it. It's got romance and a lot of ghosts, among other things, and some pretty creepy parts throughout the series. I wouldn't call them HORROR novels per se but parts are pretty scary, and there's a lot of suspense and mystery type situations. There's also some pretty funny dialogue. And I really loved the characters :). There are 6 novels and 3? I think novellas out now, and they're pretty cheap on Amazon (like 99c-$3ish)

390 I read Bitten quite a while ago and I remember liking it... Not sure why I didn't read the rest honestly? Is the rest of the series good? Does it follow the same people?
I did try the Succubus series; I think I got like 2 or 3 books in and stopped. I don't remember why now, I should prolly leave myself notes or something lol.
I haven't read any of Singh's other series... Isn't one archangels or something? I may have to check that out, I love her writing. Is it PNR or UF?
I have read Butcher's sentinol series and I really liked it :) waiting on falling blind in '13.

390 I am on winter break right now, and would like a new series to read while I have the time to enjoy it :). I've read a lot of both PNR and UF, among other things. Right now I'd rather read PNR, but if you have suggestions for a UF series you really enjoyed I welcome those also! I've read too many to list really but here are some of my faves:
PNR: LOTU by Gena Showalter
Immortals after Dark by Kresley Cole
Psy/Changling by Nalini Singh
Demonica & Lords by Larissa Ione
Anything by Shelly Laurenston
BDB by JR Ward
Tairen Soul by CL Wilson
UF: The Hollows by Kim Harrison
Kate Daniels by Ilona Andrews
Chicagoland by Chloe Neill
Fever by KMM
Cassie Palmer by Karen Chance
Night Huntress by J Frost
Mercedes Thompson & Alpha/Omega by Patricia Briggs

sorry that was probably a little long :)
Thanks y'all!

390 Definately an amazing series, you should totally read. You see a lot of the same characters throughout the series, both before and after their HEAs... and the overall plot of the series is great. Cole's world is awesome, the books are funny, sexy and well written and the characters are all great- some of my favorites come from these :)

390 Good choice, love that series :)

390 Just finished the last book available in the series; I really liked this one! The first was a little iffy for me but ended up good and the characters and subplots sucked me in. Question for y'all maybe you know, she has a book coming out called 'forget me not' that she's got a countdown for on her web page but I can't seem to find out what the heck it is? Lol lemme know if y'all do. And thanks for your advice these will def be in my 'keep up with' pile :)

390 Thanks a bunch everyone! I will give it a try for sure on my break! Appreciate the input from all y'all.
And thanks for the additional suggestion katya ;)
Guess I'll let y'all know what I think after I read!

390 I see recommendations for this series occassionally, but when I go to the first book, Burning Alive, I see awfully mixed reviews! I need a new PNR series to start on break and I feel like I've read 'em all :). So, if y'all have read this series, lemme know what ya thought.
Or if you have any other suggestions, hit me with 'em :)
Thanks y'all!

390 Amy wrote: "“And if that bastard’s innocent,” Rhage spoke up, “I’m the fucking Easter bunny.”
“Oh, good,” someone quipped. “I’m calling you Hop-along Hollywood from now on.”
“Beasty Bo Peep,” somebody else..."

Those boys always have hilarious quotes... that one and the one where Rhage was dancing actually made me laugh out loud like a dork :)

390 I loved it :) The bear shifters are definately my favorite in Laurenston's world. Their 'bear logic' is the absolute best! haha.
Cella cracked me up the whole time. She was hilllarrious. And any time Bo's blunt ass speaks he makes me laugh. Love this series :) still think my favorite was Lach's tho. Can't get over his toe grabbing and honey-salmon dreams lol

390 I love charley Davidson too; I am actually on the third one now. Very funny, great characters and world. Only reason I don't have it on my suggestions is that it's more uf, first person narrative. But def a great series, quickly a fave of mine ;)

390 Oh, Meljean Brook, Christine Feehan and Sherrilyn Kenyon are popular pnr authors as well.

390 First I'd like to tell ya to try Singh again at some point... Her Psy/Changeling series...it gets better as it goes on, and it's one of my faves. :)
Otherwise!
Shelly Laurenston has a few series, funny pnr; here's a couple:Pack ChallengeThe Mane Event
Thea Harrison's Elder Races is really good, theres a new one coming out soon too
Dragon Bound
Ilona Andrews has a pnr series that is really good; unique world great plot On the Edge
Patricia Briggs has a sort of sub-series pnr; it only follows one coupld but it's really good and it's not first person (also has a new one coming out in march) Cry Wolf but start with this short story On the Prowl
Lynsay Sands' Argeneau is pretty good, some books better than others A Quick Bite
I'm sure I have others that I haven't thought of... I'll get back to ya if none of these appeal :)
390 IAD is one of my very favoritist series :)! Love em Love em.
Lemme know how the Elemental Assassin series is, I've got it on my TBR... get to it eventually lol.
390 ooo no fair... I'd be whatever I had to if I could have Bones hahaha
390 I was gonna say a shapeshifter when I saw this post (cuz how cool would that be!), but now that y'all brought up the IAD valkyrie I would have to say them :). Kick ass in general, and then with their own special skills, plus feared by all without being a burly Amazon... they're awesome! Plus, I'd get to hang out with Regin and Nix :)

Lords of the Underworld The Darkest Night (Lords of the Underworld, #1) by Gena Showalter
Immortals after Dark A Hunger Like No Other (Immortals After Dark, #2) by Kresley Cole
Another by Ilona Andrews but more PNR than Kate Daniels On the Edge (The Edge, #1) by Ilona Andrews
Anything by Shelly Laurenston/GA Aiken is great (&funny!) heres a couple Dragon Actually (Dragon Kin, #1) by G.A. Aiken Pack Challenge (Magnus Pack, #1) by Shelly Laurenston

Know lots more good ones if you need any more!

I am actually finishing up a trilogy that is new to me and surprised to find I absolutely love it so I have to recommend... Mind Games (The Disillusionists Trilogy, #1) by Carolyn Crane
